25 & 29 September 2014
Dear Y6 Parents,
Y6's are having an amazing time at camp, we have been so proud of how well behaved they have been and how involved they are in the activities.
I have come back to school for CAS evening so I am able to upload some pictures. I will be back at camp tonight and the wifi is not great, so I am making the most of this time. Apologies if you not see a pic of your child, these are all I have on my phone.
Take a look:
29 Sept: All pictures I have are added. Apologies but they are not in order as they are from various cameras. I would love to organise them, but I just do not have the time. Enjoy!
It was a VERY successful camp!!

Here are the tent groupings and activity groupings:
Dear Y6 Campers,
Important things to remember for Wednesday:
- Arrive at school in your PE uniform and any trainers for camp
- Bring a packed lunch for day 1 (No nuts or shellfish)
- Go straight to the 5th floor outside the hall on Wed morning and line up in your activity groups
- You may bring a mobile phone (only if you really need to). Teacher group leaders will keep them throughout the camp and you can have them each evening at dinner time to call your parents. (Make sure your phone is off when you give it to your group teacher and that there are no alarms set)
- Pack your belongings in a bag or small wheely case, also bring a sleeping bag / duvet / blanket & pillow
- If you wish to bring tuck money, please no more than $100 and look after it.
- Absolutely NO electronic devices such as laptops, iPods, etc. You may bring a camera if you wish, you may not use your mobile phone to take pictures during activities.

Dress for Camp:
Please arrive at school in your PE uniform - T-shirt, shorts, socks and any trainers
Day 2 at camp - Casual dress of your choice that is suitable for hiking. (Don't forget your hat, sunscreen & repellant)
Day 3 at camp - House T-shirt and shorts of your choice
Have your swimming costume and wet shoes packed in.
Please also refer to the what to bring document.
You will also need to bring a packed lunch for the first day.
I will be posting the tent groupings and the activity groups on Monday.

Y6 CAMP 2014!!
The Year 6 Camp this year will be at Treasure Island in Lantau from 24 - 26 September 2014 (Wed - Fri).
Treasure Island is very popular amongst the International Schools as it is an IB camp offering exciting activities in nature and a true camping experience.
Mr Parker will be conducting an MYP Training session for the Y6's on the first day of camp to help them understand the MYP a little better.
Please visit their website link above for more information.
We ask that you please complete the reply slip and return it to the 7th floor drop box as soon as possible, the deadline is the 12th of September 2014.
Make sure all of the appropriate details are on the back of the cheque (Full name and class).
There is an order form below that you can send to TIG directly if you need anything. September is quite hot and I honestly only pack a duvet/blanket & sheet to sleep on top of and a pillow. (A pillow makes all the difference to being comfortable)
A rolled up sleeping bag and small pillow would be great if you have one.
There will be an information session for Y6 which will cover camp as well as other Y6 matters on the 11th September 2014 in the Auditorium at 6pm for your parents
